Board Reports

Present: Towne, Fritz, Volf, Muller, Peterson, Bryant, and Pappa.

Absent: None.

Minutes accepted from December.

Treasurer’s Report: Copy of report was submitted. There were 6 new members and 5 renewals in January 2010. Membership is down 12 compared to January 2009. 

Tournament Report: Copy of report was submitted. Ties will be broken for gross score as follows: Best score after nine holes, last six holes, last three holes, coin flip.  The loser will then be sent to the net score.  We have discussed that if a team member of a four-person team does not show-up, that team will play with three team members who are present and no strokes will be added.  An amendment was voted on, 6-1, in favor of club not allowing a blind draw, if a two-person partner does not show-up.

Handicap Report: Copy of report was submitted. There were no penalties given.

Website: No report was submitted. The website is working well. 

Old Business: All members must call Barbara to cancel even on tournament day.  Members will not be allowed to call the Pro Shop.  Hole-in-One insurance was discussed.  The Hole-in-One insurance was reinstated for this year by a vote of 7-0.  Don Iocca achieved a Hole-in-One on January 31, 2010.  The club will pay for drinks for all participants on February 13, 2010.

New Business: Blue Book is in progress.
